Claims submitted for you

We send the claim directly to your provider, so there's no paperwork or follow-up on your end.

Pay only the difference

Your insurer pays their share to us. You cover only co-payments, deductibles, or services your plan doesn't include.

Estimates before treatment

For larger treatment we send a pre-determination to your insurer so you know your share before you commit.

Canadian Dental Care Plan

We'll help you sign up, right here.

The CDCP is a federal program that pays for dental care for eligible Canadians who don't have private insurance. Many of our patients qualify and didn't know it. We check eligibility, help with the application, and bill the plan directly.

  • For Canadian residents without access to private dental insurance
  • Adjusted family net income under $90,000, with taxes filed
  • Covers exams, cleanings, X-rays, fillings, root canals, extractions, dentures and more at set fees
  • Co-payments of 40% or 60% may apply for incomes above $70,000
  • Some treatments need pre-authorization before they can start

Eligibility rules and coverage levels are set by the Government of Canada and can change. We'll confirm the current details for your situation before treatment.

Will my insurance cover the treatment I need?

It depends on your plan. Most plans cover preventive care such as exams and cleanings at a high percentage, with restorative and major work covered at a lower rate and subject to an annual maximum. We check your coverage before treatment so you know what to expect.

What does direct billing mean?

We submit the claim to your insurer on your behalf and they pay us directly. You only pay the portion your plan doesn't cover, such as a co-payment or deductible, at the time of your visit.

Am I eligible for the Canadian Dental Care Plan?

Generally, Canadian residents with an adjusted family net income under $90,000 who don't have access to private dental insurance and have filed their taxes may qualify. Coverage levels depend on income. We'll help you check and apply in office.

Does the CDCP cover everything?

No. The CDCP covers a set list of services at set fees, and some procedures need pre-authorization. Depending on your income level, a co-payment may apply. We give you a clear estimate before any treatment begins.

I don't have insurance. What are my options?

You're very welcome here. Our promotions are priced for uninsured patients, we can phase treatment over time, and we'll always give you a written estimate up front. Ask us about the CDCP, ODSP, Ontario Works, and Healthy Smiles Ontario too.

Do you accept ODSP, Ontario Works, and Healthy Smiles Ontario?

Yes, all three. Bring your card or member details to your first visit and we'll take care of the paperwork.
