New chapter,

For over fifty years, the dental chair at 940 First Avenue West has been a place where Owen Sound families come to be cared for. Through generations of dentists and decades of change, one thing has stayed constant: the commitment to your smile.

In December 2024, we welcomed new ownership, bringing fresh energy, updated technology, and a renewed commitment to affordable, transparent dental care. We still accept ODSP, Ontario Works, and Healthy Smiles. We now help patients sign up for the Canadian Dental Care Plan. And we still believe everyone deserves a dentist who treats them like family.

Are you accepting new patients?

Yes, and we'd love to meet you. We welcome individuals and families from Owen Sound and the surrounding Grey-Bruce area. Call (519) 371-9415 or request an appointment online and we'll find a time that works for you.

What is the Canadian Dental Care Plan (CDCP)?

The CDCP is a federal program that helps cover the cost of dental care for eligible Canadians without private insurance. We help you check your eligibility, understand your coverage, and sign up, right here in our office.

Do you bill insurance directly?

Yes. We bill most insurance providers directly, including GreenShield, Manulife, Sun Life, and Canada Life. We also accept ODSP, Ontario Works, and Healthy Smiles Ontario, so you pay less out of pocket, if anything.

I have a dental emergency. How fast can you see me?

We reserve time every day for emergencies, and we offer after-hours emergency care Monday through Thursday. Call (519) 371-9415 and describe what's happening. We'll get you in as quickly as possible.

Can you really repair dentures the same day?

Yes. We operate the only onsite denture lab in Owen Sound, which means most repairs and adjustments are done while you wait. No waiting weeks and no mailing your dentures away.

Where are you located, and what are your hours?

We're at 940 1st Ave. W. in Owen Sound, Ontario. We're open Monday through Thursday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, with Tuesday evenings until 7:00 PM to fit around work and school.
